Meet Our Founder
Manuel Borrero spent his formative years in Venezuela, deeply influenced by the natural beauty and diverse scents of his surroundings. His early passion for technology and healing led him to initially pursue a career in medicine. However, life’s twists and turns brought him to Los Angeles, where he rediscovered his love for fragrances and music during a period of personal isolation.
In 2022, inspired by his journey of resilience and innovation, Manuel founded Kaind. He envisioned a brand that would merge his love for technology with his passion for fragrances, creating candles that do more than scent a room—they enhance one's overall sense of well-being.
